Tamounte Trekking is an agency organizing tours and tourist stays, created in 2003. In Berber, “tamounte” means “together”. It is precisely together, with you, our team, our partners that we organize circuits in the Moroccan Sahara desert, in the mountains and plateaus of the Atlas or on the Atlantic coasts. Morocco is a country that you can discover all year round. In winter, we recommend the Saharan hikes south of Ouarzazate, from October to May. The great south with its gorges, its valleys, its palm groves are an unexpected revelation for the traveler who descends towards the desert. The average altitude of all our circuits will always keep you safe from very high heat. However, the climatic conditions of the mountain can be changeable. The High Atlas is the longest and highest of the three folds that form the Atlas massif. The Marrakchis come here to find coolness against the heat of the summer sun. The temperate climate of the Atlantic Coast is characterized by an average temperature always cooled by a strong wind in the afternoon. This particularity makes it possible to attenuate the effect of extreme heat in summer, in the region of Essaouira.
