Riad Maison Bleue was set up in a 19th century residence whose former owner, the late Moulay Bel Arbi El Alaoui, was an eminent judge and professor of theology. It was also the house where the late Aziz Lahbabi, a great Moroccan philosopher, was born and raised. Today, Riad Maison Bleue, the second guest house restored and managed by the El Abbadi family, consists of three interconnected patios where guests have the impression of navigating the alleys of the Medina of Fez.
