The Riad Bayti opened its doors in October 2002 after a little over a year of restoration work.
Alternately the residence of a notable, post office under the French protectorate, then trading house , the Riad Bayti will share with you the history of Marrakech, the great and the small, that of the wealthy people and that of the simple people. Located at the entrance to the old Jewish quarter, the Mellah, one of the most authentic in the medina, you can stroll a stone’s throw from the Riad among the spice merchants between pyramids of turmeric, barrels of dried roses and pistils of saffron, set off on foot to discover the Bahia and el Badii palaces, the Saadian tombs, the Jemaa El Fna square… and discover the medina and its souks at your own pace while strolling through its alleys…
The Riad Bayti will be your haven of peace in the middle of the Marrakchi bustle. “Bayti” in Arabic means “my house”, Riad Bayti will be your home during your stay!
