The history of the Restaurant des Dunes dates back to the year 1987, when tourism was not yet widespread in this small town in the Sahara that is Erfoud, in the south of Morocco.
The Ettaiek brothers had a vision, and that vision was to embark on a long-term endeavor in what was to become “the most desirable Moroccan destination”.
The Restaurant des Dunes was born with the help of the Ettaiek family and opened in December 1980, at 76, Avenue Moulay Ismal, where the Argan Shop is also located today.
The Restaurant des Dunes began as a café/restaurant/tea room, where explorers and expeditions of all board came to a stop before embarking on the Dunes Merzouga.
