The current Soleiman Palace was until the beginning of the seventies the property of one of the last great tribal chiefs of the Atlas.
In 1971, the Palace was bought by Mustapha Segueni, a Casablancan businessman. Falling in love with this sumptuous mansion which, for lack of maintenance for many years, had lost much of its former glory, the new owner undertook to restore its luster and restore it in order to organize receptions and festivities there. . In the early eighties, he also dedicated it to the organization of classical music concerts.
In 2004, his son, Driss Segueni, a graduate of the EHL (Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne), took over the management and, while maintaining the tradition of patronage initiated by his late father, redirected the activities of the Palace, to make it one of the most prestigious table d’hôtes
