Dar Assoura is a beautiful 19th century Riad, completely renovated in the pure respect of traditional construction methods and Arab architecture. With a very sober architecture, it opens onto a patio with trees in the middle of which flows a pretty fountain.
A traditional B’hou, dug in front of the fountain, will allow you to rest in the cool and in the shade . On the roof, a very large tree-lined terrace surrounds the patio and overlooks the Atlas Mountains. Garnished with a beautiful pool of running water, in which you can cool off, it is decorated with several solariums and two tent lounges where meals can be served.
Dar Assoura offers a suite and three bedrooms. double bed, all equipped with a bathroom in natural “tadlakt”, and decorated with a concern for sobriety, harmony and calm.
The “Patio” room opens facing the fountain. The upstairs gallery leads to the “Cheminée” bedroom, large and decorated with a small living room with a beautiful open fire.
A few steps further, the “Terrace” bedroom opens onto a small private covered patio of bougainvillea. Continuing the gallery we discover, on the other side of the patio, the “Hammam” suite, very large, with a small office, a dressing room, and a large hammam-style dome bathroom.
With the exception from the “Terrace” room, all the rooms can accommodate a third person.
Dar Assoura offers you the services of an excellent cook and a housekeeper. To get your days off to a good start, you will be served hearty breakfasts, consisting of fresh fruit juice, pancakes with honey, donuts, eggs and bread accompanied by very good jams, and your favorite hot drinks.
A your request, Saida will prepare excellent meals for lunch or dinner. You will discover the subtleties of Moroccan cuisine: briouats, tajines, couscous, mutton, chicken with lemon…
