FROM GREEN COFFEE TO THE WORLD OF ZANETTIWorld leader in espresso, Segafredo Zanetti is one of the most dynamic companies in the coffee sector. It thus continues the work begun by Massimo Zanetti’s father: to make people love good coffee.
This is the simple story of a dynasty entirely focused on coffee. The father created the business by going into the green coffee business. His son continued his work and decided to expand his offer in order to master the entire coffee industry. He therefore embarked on the roasting and sale of roasted coffee. The first year, he sells a ton of coffee processed by him. Today, Massimo Zanetti Beverage Group produces 145,000 tons per year and is thus the world leader in coffee for the out-of-home market.
He owns a coffee plantation in Brazil, a coffee processing factory in Costa Rica, two green coffee trading companies in Switzerland and Vietnam, eleven roasting factories in the world, about twenty domestic coffee brands and professional, 600 coffee shops and even manufactures espresso machines and professional equipment under the La San Marco brand.
