Among the many hotel establishments in Tangier, the one which, by its high category far surpasses all the others, is, without question, the El Minzah Hotel. Since its inauguration, in April 1930, by Lord Bute , English aristocrat, this hotel stood out in a very particular way for its Hispano-Moorish style, following the purely traditional line of the country.
