At the foot of Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in Morocco at 4167 m, the Mzik hostel is a place of vacation and departure for the High Atlas, a massif renowned for its treks and high and medium mountain hikes .
Created by Mohamed Id Bousalem, a native of the douar (village) Mzik and working in the field of tourism since the eighties, the Mzik hostel is nestled in a small traditional Berber village a few minutes from Imlil , tourist town, famous starting point for treks to Toubkal.
Mohamed has traveled the High Atlas and the Moroccan desert working with guides, agencies, hotels etc… His experience allows him to orient and inform tourists and hikers by providing multiple information on the Imlil valley and the surrounding mountains
His son Ibrahim and his grandson, Houssain, experienced mountaineers, accompany hikers for treks of short o u long durations.
