A native to the Sahara Desert, Lahcen found his passion for culture and language amongst the most majestic sand dunes of Morocco called Erg Chebbi, located in Merzouga village. He led a nomadic childhood with his parents, wandering through the desert with his family, camel and possessing only a tent for shelter.
Lahcen attended the University of Meknes, where he gained his degree in English Literature in 1998. He felt passionate about educating and informing the general public about his culture and little-known nomadic way of life, and decided to show travellers the wonders of Morocco.
